ViniOffice

Roadmap

What we’re building, and in what order.

ViniOffice is one platform for how a company runs, shipped one module at a time. This is the whole map — what’s live, what’s next, and what we’ve decided not to build at all.

We don’t put dates on unshipped work. Order below is by dependency, and later items may move based on what pilot companies actually need.

Next

Committed, in this order.

The next dependency step, and the work that sits on top of it once it lands.

Payroll & Payslips

Next

Bulk payslip distribution and secure self-service download.

Payroll is the hard one, and that is exactly why it isn't module one. A payroll run is only correct if the directory, the leave ledger and the attendance record are all correct first — every rupee traces back to who someone is, what they were paid, what leave they took and which days they worked. Build payroll before those settle and you spend the next two years reconciling it.

Tax & Statutory

Next

India statutory profile, tax declarations, regime, and proof verification.

The statutory sub-track that payroll runs on: statutory profile (PAN, Aadhaar, UAN, PF and ESI numbers), tax declarations, old-vs-new regime selection, and proof verification.

Integrations

The things we're not replacing, we talk to.

A compound platform still has to work with the systems around it — and for an Indian buyer, one or two of these decide the deal.

Biometric & attendance device import

Later

Import punches from the device already on your wall, instead of asking people to punch twice.

Materially important in India: most offices of any size already have a biometric or RFID device, and an attendance module that ignores it is an attendance module nobody uses.

Accounting handoff — Tally, Zoho Books

Later

Payroll produces a journal entry your accountant imports. We hand off; we don't become your books.

Bank payment file export

Later

A bank-ready salary disbursement file. We compute the payroll; your bank moves the money.

SSO & directory sync — Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra, SAML, SCIM

Later

Not available today — sign-in is email and password with token sessions. It comes up on nearly every security review, so it's on the list rather than in a footnote.

Payslip & document email delivery

Later

Send payslips and letters to each employee's inbox as well as their self-service account.

Exploring

AI, once there's a whole record to ask about.

Last on purpose, and we'd rather say that plainly than put it at the top of a homepage.

An assistant on top of half your data is a chatbot that guesses. This is last on purpose.

HR assistant

Exploring

Ask a question in plain language — policy, balances, who's off — and get an answer from your own data.

Automation

Exploring

The routine follow-ups and hand-offs a person currently remembers to do.

Cross-module insights

Exploring

Questions that only make sense once people, time and money are on one record.

Scope

What we're deliberately not building.

A platform that claims to do everything does nothing well. Here's where we stop — and what we'll integrate with instead.

Accounting and your general ledger

Payroll will hand off a journal entry. It will not become your books.

Use Tally or Zoho Books — we'll integrate with them. A general ledger is a different product with different auditors, and an HR vendor's version of one is nobody's first choice.

Moving money

We'll compute payroll and produce a bank-ready file. We won't move the funds.

Becoming a licensed payments entity is a different company with different regulators — and you shouldn't want your HR vendor to be one.

CRM and sales pipeline

A different buyer and a different data model.

Nothing is gained by sharing our employee directory with your deal pipeline, and the teams who buy a CRM are not the teams who buy this.

Project management

Onboarding checklists and personal task lists, yes. Jira or Asana, no.

Tasks that hang off a workflow — get this new hire a laptop, collect that document — belong here. Sprint boards, dependencies and burndowns don't, and you already have a tool for them.

Chat

Announcements with policy acknowledgement are not a replacement for Slack or Teams.

We won't pretend otherwise. Broadcasting something everyone must read and acknowledge is a different job from a conversation.

Course authoring and LMS

Training records may make sense one day. Course content delivery doesn't.

Knowing who has completed what, and when it expires, is an HR record. Hosting the video and building the quiz is a specialist product.

A standalone ATS for recruiting agencies

Recruitment will exist so you can hire into ViniOffice — not as a product we sell separately.

An agency-facing applicant tracking system serves recruiters placing candidates at other companies. That is a competing product with its own roadmap, and building it would pull the platform off course.

Shape what we build next

Early users decide what lands next.

Pilot companies tell us what’s actually blocking them, and the order above changes. That’s not a slogan — it’s how the list got to be in this order.
